How it is calculated
Bill ≈ kWh used × your average residential rate + monthly fixed charge, plus 15% VAT. Real bills can add network and service charges, inclining block tariffs, time-of-use pricing and municipal levies. Prepaid meters charge per unit (kWh) instead of a monthly bill.
Results are estimates for planning, not bills or professional advice. For generator or inverter hookups use a changeover switch installed by a registered electrician with a certificate of compliance (CoC).
