How it is calculated

Energy from the wall = battery kWh × (charge to − charge from) ÷ charging efficiency. Monthly energy = km ÷ km per kWh ÷ efficiency. Petrol cost = km × l/100 km ÷ 100 × fuel price.

Results are estimates for planning, not bills or professional advice. For generator or inverter hookups use a changeover switch installed by a registered electrician with a certificate of compliance (CoC).
